Won ton Romance

Carrot Ginger Won ton Filling:
1 carrot
1 inch fresh ginger
1 scallion and 1 green onion
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1 Tblsp peanut oil
juice from a lemon
1 Tblsp raw sunflower seeds, and 1 tsp sesame seeds

Process into a thick paste
Drop and roll into won ton wraps
Fry in hot peanut oil (I did not submerge, I turned, you can also brush with oil and bake, turning once.)
Remove from pan when golden brown.
Sesame Salad: Carrot,Cucumber, Red peppers,
Sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and Cilantro.
Salad Dressing: 1 Tblsp Rice Wine Vinegar,1 tspn honey, and 1/2 tsp sesame oil.
Toss with dressing and let salad sit half an hour.
Won ton Dipping Sauce: 2 Tblsp Tamari, 1 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar (make it to your taste)
















This is a nice light meal.  Have fun experimenting with the way you roll the won ton wraps.  My husband liked the simple triangle way. The paste filling helps them stick together.
